The Mansion Lions Hotel is situated on the elegant Eastbourne seafront opposite the iconic Bandstand.
The Hotel can accommodate up to four private coach hire parties at any one time – as a standard we offer porterage, full or half board packages and evening entertainment ranging from bingo and quiz with our in house entertainer to musical entertainment. We are able to cater for a wide range of requirements.
The Mansion Lions Hotel also has an outside garden located at the rear of the property – where the owner, Sheikh Abid Gulzar grows his own grapes and even has a small fish pond! This is the perfect place to sit and relax during the warmer summer months.
The Hotel is located within a 10 minute walk from the town centre and selection of modern shops, three theatres and a local site seeing bus route going all over Beachy Head and the South Downs.
The Lions Bar is located on the ground floor of the main Hotel with its large open space adjoining onto the conservatory overlooking the promenade and coast line.
We have an extensive wine list, draught beer and a wide range of spirits; we offer a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere to make your stay with us the best it can be.
The lounge and bar menu has been designed to complement the beverage options and options range from a light homemade sandwich lunch to traditional Fish and Chips, all food is served from Midday to 2.00pm on a daily basis.
The Lions Restaurant is available to both residents and non residents of the hotel. With large round tables available or smaller intimate tables, we will be able to find something to suit your needs.
The Mansion Lions Hotel currently has 108 en suite bedrooms and these range from Singles, Twin, Double, Family and Premier Rooms – some come with an inland view and others with a sea view (supplement applies for the sea view rooms of £5.00 per person per night)
All bedrooms have en suite facilities and feature a flat screen TV, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, towels and hospitality tray – upon request we can provide an iron and ironing board. Some rooms do have a walk in shower, if this is a requirement, then please do advise us upon making your reservation. With regret, we are unable to accommodate dogs, other than guide dogs by prior arrangement. We do have a lift that services all floors.
The Hotel has wifi in all bedrooms and public areas and is free of charge to our residents.

The Hotel has a large ballroom available to hire, located on the lower ground floor, this can be accessed via lift and stairs.
The Devonshire Ballroom has a capacity of up to 150 people for a formal sit down menu, conference or breakfast meeting. The ballroom is a self contained room with its own bar, toilet facilities and stage area.
Our ballroom is one of the largest in Eastbourne with a total floor space of 174m squared (20.8m x 6.5m/ 6.3m x 6.2m) and is perfect for a dance weekends and Weddings.
Alongside our coach groups, we provide entertainment for both residents and non residents of the hotel, this is normally available in the Bar of an evening.
